For the month of December, we are proud to recognize Hem Sela and Siek Senghong as our two Star Employees. With their strong work ethic and professionalism, they have shone through as great role models.
Siek Senghong is a strong asset to our Receptionist Team. He joined Navutu in the summer of 2012 as a trainee fresh out of high school, and quickly progressed to a junior and now Junior Receptionist role. It has been rewarding for us to have been a part of his professional development. His favorite parts of working at Navutu Dreams are his fellow staff members and explaining potential tours and facts about Siem Reap to guests. In the mornings, he attends university, where he is halfway towards earning a Bachelor of English and Hospitality Management. As he says himself, “I hope to one day manage a hotel like Navutu.”
Hem Sela has been working at Navutu Dreams for just three months now as our Food and Beverage Supervisor, but with the way that he works so fluidly and fits right in to the Navutu team, it feels as if he has been here since the beginning! Born and raised in Siem Reap, he has 10 years of hospitality experience in Siem Reap. His favorite events to manage are weddings, and Sela has a unique way of adding that special touch to make each event truly distinctive.
I want to bring good things to two people who are together. I want to make them happy, so I try my best to find something new – I love to be able to surprise them.
